This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

What I love about my students is that they love to explore the world of new and exciting things through reading and being read books. Each story opens the imagination of every student and helps to build a mind of inquiry to learn more. My students are K-5 boys and girls with autism. Books not only provide their minds with imagination and wonder but also provide lessons about our world, social cues, problem solving and how to be a good friend. Books are a great resource in the classroom and benefit all our students.
