This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Not all students learn in the same way. Some are auditory learners, some learn by doing, and some are visual learners.
I have always had a diversified set of students every year.
It is part of the reason that I love to teach. Every year the new group of students brings lots of experience and background to share. They are determined to learn and together, with the teachers and staff at our school, we are making it happen. If the books are funded, these kids would be able to grow and learn far beyond what I can financially provide for them.
My Project
Books are supplies needed to achieve daily success is an on-going battle. In my classroom, I want to be able to provide the very best opportunities for creativity, imagination, and focused learning.
With your help, these supplies will enhance the learning of my students, all the while focusing on basic concepts.
I know we live in a world filled with technological gadgets, but focusing and succeeding with basic concepts can help every student for years to come. Books provide the opportunity for more meaningful language learning, increased engagement and leadership opportunities for students. I want my students to be successful and creative and these supplies will help them to achieve success within all of their classes. All these books are needed in our classroom library, specially for a readers workshop unit.
