This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Many students are struggling with digital books, they have requested paperback books that they can physically touch, read! It has been a great impact in many ways from social distancing to all digital learning. Having physical books for them to read would make a great positive difference.

We love our students and we are grateful for all the help we can get to help our students with their needs.

Many of them like fiction, non-fiction, biography books. Thanks for all your support!

My Project

Some of the students have struggled with digital reading, digital check out of books. They are craving physical books and this will bring huge smiles to them!

Students are experiencing a new way of living, a new world and it's amazing when they open up a box from DonorsChoose to know they have amazing support from so many people!

When student have great books, books they love, books they read more than once, it creates a positive habit to read more and more. It's amazing to see a student finish a book and go straight into another. Their minds are full of imagination and books are a huge part of this.
