My Project
As an educator, I know how important it is for students to feel motivated and confident in their abilities, especially when they are struggling with a skill as fundamental as reading. For many of my students, reading is a challenging subject that causes frustration, self-doubt, and a lack of enthusiasm for learning. However, with the right encouragement and support, these students can experience tremendous growth and success!
In order to boost the confidence and motivation of my struggling readers, I want to provide them with high interest books that will motivate them to read.
These books will be used during independent reading time, small group instruction, and read-aloud sessions, allowing each child to enjoy and learn from them in different ways. By creating a classroom library filled with books that are both diverse and exciting, we will not only nurture their love of reading but also provide them with the tools they need to become confident, lifelong readers.
