This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I am the Dual Language Program Coordinator at our elementary school. I am here to provide support to the teachers and students in the program!
I'd love to surprise the kindergarten, first grade, and fifth grade Dual Language teachers with some fresh new books for their classroom libraries!
In grades K and 1, we have opened up an Integrative Co-teaching model, ICT, and those classrooms will greatly benefit from an abundance of easy level A-B books.
In grade five, we want to push students for high-academic achievement in Spanish; therefore, books at levels S, T, U will help our students succeed!
