My Students
Our classroom is our home away from home. We all come together as a community for lessons and fun activities. However, our resources are limited. We are in need of tools to help meet the needs of each individual learner in our classroom.
Our students come from a wide range of cultures and families.
In our classroom, we are one big family and we are part of a larger school community. Some students struggle with daily academic skills, especially those students who find traditional learning activities difficult. My students need the option of fun, alternative activities and lessons to support their learning styles.
My Project
More than half of the students at our school are learning 100% remotely and do not come into the school building. It is so important for students to have physical books to read at home. Our students have access to digital book libraries, but providing them with physical books to borrow from school will make a huge difference in their learning!
Students who are 100% remote would be able to come pick up pre-made book baggies from school and return them when they are done reading.
Creating a borrowing library for our remote learners will make their school experience as authentic as possible this school year.
