My Project
Students love to visit our school library and read a variety of books. This school year our students will once again have the opportunity to participate in the Western Massachusetts Battle of the Books Competition!
These Battle of Books Titles will allow our students access to the books necessary to participate in this academic activity!
Last year our students participated in this program for the first time and their experience fed the enthusiasm of our up and coming third, fourth and fifth grade students. Students are eager to begin reading the required titles so that they can be prepared next Spring when the in-person competition will take place. I am hoping that the books will arrive early in the school year to give students plenty of time to finish their books. Last year some students finished their very first chapter books in order to be a part of this program and I hoping to have even greater success this year!
