Students ask to read books from popular series everyday! Unfortunately, our library was dismantled during the pandemic. During that time all of our most popular titles disappeared! Book series engage students and keep them reading! Research has shown that the quantity of books read matters tremendously. The more students read the better they do in school! Popular titles like the Diary of a Wimpy Kid engage students! They often reread these books over and over. Also, students love graphic novels and those books engage students' minds in a different and very positive way. They use both words and illustrations to make meaning from a text and that is invaluable! Replacing these titles will be both exciting and educational!
