Books for my HS Bookworms - SSR Classroom Library Funding

Help me give my students an expanded classroom library for our Silent Sustained Reading program. I am working to create prolific readers by putting books in the hands of my learners.

My Project

I’ve seen a huge amount of success this past year with my SSR (Silent Sustained Reading) program. My young adults spend anywhere from 10-15 minutes every single day of the school year with a book in their hands. They read our journals and conferences, and my learners are able to escape the curriculum-prescribed books as they enter a world of their choosing through literature. I’ve worked to choose books that my young readers are craving: graphic novels, suspense thrillers, books about people of color, and literature about the living of life as they know it. Please consider helping me add to my classroom library with a donation of books they are looking for.
