This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My goal is to get more classroom books for my students next year, specifically beginner chapter books for my students and books for their grade level. This will be my 2nd year teaching so I want to grow my classroom library more and have more fun books that my students are interested in. I also want to include books where students can learn about animals, different countries, and cultures. This is important to me because I want my students to learn about the world around them. This makes me so excited because 2nd grade is the start where kids read to learn.
