My Students

My students are very inquisitive. The moment anything new is introduced, they light up and get excited to learn!

My students come to school looking forward to new lessons, materials, and new ways to learn.

They truly value creative lessons.

My Project

To meet the needs of hybrid learning, I plan to use my document camera and present these books as read alouds, modeling text knowledge, books orientation, tracking and so much more! Leveled readers will be used to promote independent reading and build upon phonics/ site word recognition. These students have had an unfair year and as a result have a lot of catching up to do. Virtual books don't compare to the experience of live readings. I also plan to do mini author studies and mini lessons covering the different types of text. Please help to prepare these kindergartners for first grade.
