My Students

I teach at Teche Elementary School in Cecilia, Louisiana. We are a small town community with a low economic status. My kiddos are kind and smart and would do anything to help out a neighbor, so please help them out.

They love to read and watch their AR points accumulate, but they don't always have the resources needed to be able to do this.

It makes them proud of themselves to reach goals, and it really breaks their heart when they can't find books on their levels, the books they WANT to read, etc. These kids have drive and a want to pursue education, but sometimes it isn't in their reach.

My Project

These books will give students who want to do more the ability to reach their goals, expand their vocabulary, and find a release in reading- even when they don't have the means themselves to do so.

These books will promote reading and learning within my classroom and really give my kids room to grow throughout the years to come.

A stocked classroom library shows the students that you value reading and their growth through reading. Please help to give my students a classroom library that helps them grow into the little people that they want to be. Thank you for your time and donations.
