My students are amazing! They are so eager to learn and come to school motivated to learn every single day. One of my favorite things about them is that they are always asking to do more reading or more ELA. They are constantly trying to find new things to learn.
They are all so encouraging to each other and willing to help their classmates.
They are so proud of themselves and each other when they learn something new, which happens constantly throughout our day.
My Project
My students enjoy reading books both for specific information and leisure. Unfortunately, our classroom library is not very big or diverse. This is why we would love to add many books of different genres that cover many interests!
Books shopping is a very important time in our classroom.
Students look forward to Fridays so that they can go book shopping and pick 5-8 new books every week. It is important that they have new books to pick from every week.In second grade, it is essential for students to practice fluency and comprehension daily. Please help our classroom stock up on new and exciting reads!
