This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students would love to add this collection to our small library. They have been asking for this collection for a while and I love that they are choosing to read more challenging books that are higher than their grade level reading. Students will be able to have a variety of books to choose from. I aim to have a variety of books both in English and Spanish. Currently, my students are enjoying reading graphic novels. Both of these collections were hand-picked by students. I am slowly building my classroom library and want to be very selective of the books I have available to my students.
