My Project

Kindergarten students LOVE to read. They love to be read to. They love paging through picture books. They love learning letters, sounds, and snap words so that they can read on their own.

I am asking for books that will support my students' lifelong love of reading.

These books reflect the diversity in our city and provide opportunities for all students to see themselves in stories - and consider perspectives and lives different than their own. I am also asking for some fun graphic novels for children who are already reading independently and some high-quality information books to use in our science and social studies units.
