My Students

The students at my school are extremely hard working and very goal oriented. They are 3rd graders. Most students are on a 2-6th grade level in Reading. My students light up at that thought of books and learning!

They come to school with a smile on their faces eager to learn and explore through reading new books!

They are hungry for new information and new ways of gaining that information. They are bright, caring, respectful, and fun. My students come from very diverse backgrounds bringing their cultures to our room! We learn from each other every day and strive to excellence in all we do!

My Project

Chapter books will allow my students to complete their assignments, practice skills on a variety of genres, and research new topics. Students take daily Accelerated Reading quizzes. In our classroom we currently have some chapter books, however, students constantly have to wait to take find their favorite book. AR Quizzes offer immediate feedback, making waiting a day very difficult for 3rd graders!

With the multiple chapter books the students can have a variety of authors and genres o peek their interest in reading.

I can have a variety of books that the students are exposed to! The flexibility and options are endless! Please, help my students get the chapter books they need to succeed!
