This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
"Children are the future" could not be more true. My future class of Kindergarten kids are going to make a difference in our communities and our world. However, they will need great and exciting books to help them on their journey.
Although the kids in my class may be coming from different and possibly lower income homes, their classroom shouldn't be a place where they don't feel they have everything they need to learn.
I can't wait to transform and shape little minds with the help of DonorsChoose.org.
My Project
This will be my first year teaching and with the stress of setting up my classroom and getting ready to teach 22 minds how to read and grow, I would love to have TONS of books at their disposal. Books are such a huge part of any classroom and these books I have here would be an amazing start to my classroom library for the children in my class.
Children learn more from books then we can even imagine!
