My Students

My students are mostly English Language Learners who love to learn. They come from low income households. Despite where they come from, they will knock your socks off with their minds. My students can come up with the most amazing stories. They have hearts of gold and enjoy coming to school each and every day to learn something new.

My students love to read, tell stories, write stories, be creative, solve math problems, and create projects that will blow your mind.

There is never a task that my students will not accomplish.

My Project

Books are a huge part of our day. Not all of my students are able to have a wide variety of books because my classroom library only has second grade level books with a few first and a few kinder levels. My students deserve to have there needs met. In getting thes books it will allow all my students to have multiple titles to read each day.

I need to be able to reach all my readers no matter their level.

Being a second grade teacher I do not have a lot of lower books

I need lower level reading books to meet the needs of all my students.
