My Project

We have a wonderful school community with great students. The students are needing the latest, greatest books, such as "First Time for Everything" and "We Don't Lose Our Class" that will encourage my students to read and develop as readers.

Many books I have requested uch as "Berry Song" and "Our Planet!

There's No Place Like Earth" are award winning books. They will make great read alouds when students come to the library.

When we read a great read aloud, the students will then continue to check out the book for the rest of the year as they pass the book from student to student. These books also feature diverse characters which is so important for my students to see themselves in books and to learn about other children in the world.
