My students are a talkative group that love asking questions and always want to know more about everything. These students work very hard towards their goals and know what is expected of them. They love working hard and seeing what they can accomplish. Each student brings something different to the class whether it be laughter or tears. I truly am so thankful for each of these students because they remind me each and every day of why I became a teacher. These students deserve so much more then I can provide for them.
I believe using these projects will not only enhance learning but also give students a reason to continue their education.
Students need to be shown the importance of a higher education. Through donations and continued support, my student will not only be able to see that importance but feel it as well.
My Project
Throughout the years of my teaching career, I have noticed that students are not exposed to enriching texts. By completing this project, my students will be exposed to different genres of texts. Furthermore, my students will learn not only reading skills but also language art skills.
With the use of the different types of texts in this project, I will be able to teach the skills that students will need to be successful.
Each book in this project features a different genre and purpose for reading. The hope for my students is that they will be exposed to different types of text and see the purpose behind reading. I am excited about this project and hope that it is funded.
