My students need reading books for our class reading library and 6 Connect Four board games. Our class library has books in it but, they are many years old and some are falling apart.

My Students

My 2nd graders love to read! Our classroom library has books in it but, they are older and some are falling apart. My 2nd graders really need new books for their reading classroom library.

My students are from a low to middle class area.

Some of my students were affected or know someone who was affected by the May 2013 tornado in Oklahoma. Some of my students have parents who serve in our Military. Most of all my 2nd graders are students who love to read everyday.

My Project

I am asking for a great selection of readers for my 2nd graders to have in their classroom library. A large selection and a varied selection so they can have a good variety to choose from to practice their reading everyday. This great selection of a variety of books will give all my students choices to choose from no matter what their interests are.

It is so very important to encourage reading everyday in 2nd grade.

Reading is a big part of our day in 2nd grade, my 2nd graders need a great library of book choices to choose from.
