Help me give my students books that go along with our comprehension curriculum for our Dyslexia program.

My Project

I am the Dyslexia Coordinator and Interventionist K-12 in a small school in rural Arkansas. We are a Title One district with a high population of English Language Learners and low income backgrounds. These books will help provide instructional support for our school districts dyslexia curriculum with the sole purpose of helping to teach comprehension skills and strategies to struggling readers. With your support we would have enough copies for each student, and the interventionist, to have their own copy of the book in a small group intervention setting. I pull students in a group of six or less so this would allow all students in the group to have their own copy. Many students have a passion to learn and to see the moment they have learned something new, makes the world a better place.

The materials in this project could help me provide my students with the necessary skills needed to become successful readers.

My district and I would appreciate any support that you can give in helping our students become more successful readers.
