My Students
I work in a very big elementary school. Because if this we are not able to go to the library. My students are always asking me when will it be their time to go. My students like looking at books. They are really excited to learn how to read. They are excited to be in a school for the very first time. They come to school excited about leaning new things.
Kindergarten students need to experience a lot of different styles.
My students Every week we focus on different books. Thought the week we focus on the different parts of each book. This is their favorite time of the day. As a new teacher I have to play the books from a youtube video. However, I want them to experience having that book in the classroom.
I want to create a classroom library that my students are going to enjoy while they are in my classroom. I want them to find the joy of reading.
My Project
These will help my students be able stop and talk about pages and vocabulary. We can go slower in reading the stories so that students have a better grasp about what is happing. With the nonfictions texts we are able to talk more about what is happing and about the different parts of plants and animals. I am grateful about technology and what it can do in the classroom. However, books are the best things for kindergarten. We also learn how to hold books and were we start to read.
