My Students

I teach an energetic group of 3 and 4 year-olds in a Head Start program. In our school students stay in their classrooms for two years allowing them to build strong relationships and learn to love coming to school every day. We celebrate diversity and growth for students at all levels of development.

In our classroom, we believe that mistakes just prove that you are trying, and as long as you do your best you will always learn something.

We spend our days learning through hands on activities and exploration. I believe each student has the potential to do amazing things when given the tools. We love to find creative ways to use items to develop new skills.

My Project

In our classroom we love to read but need a little help showing our books some love. We have so many wonderful stories in our classroom but they are all tucked away in bins and on shelves. We need a new shelf to show off our wonderful stories and make them easier to find.

Our library has outgrown its storage and we need a new bookshelf to help us organize our books.

My students love to read but our current storage solution makes it too hard to find the right book and for my young students to put the books away. Please consider donating towards a new shelf for our books.
