This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My school is a Title I school with 77.2% of pupils from low-income families. My class will consist of 13 TK students. It is an inclusive class composed of general and special education students.
For my younger readers, using felt storyboards and picture books to enhance the reading experience makes a book come to life.
The Chicka Chicka Boom Boom felt tree will bring one of my students' favorite books to life. No, David! The book and felt storyboard will be an excellent addition to our classroom library, allowing my kids to retell the story. The Crayons book series will be a great addition to our classroom library, allowing children to listen to it throughout the school year.
It is critical to introduce students to literature from an early age. The goal of this project is to integrate picture books and felt stories, so they develop a love of reading. I am therefore eager to see this idea come to fruition in my classroom.
More than three‑quarters of students from low‑income households
