This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are young learners who are learning to read. Books are powerful. They need books designed for early readers and books that are decodable. They also need chair backpacks to store their books. These specific books will be used with individual students and small groups. The students will also use the books to read independently and during buddy reading. They will become confident readers and create a love for reading. I would like to provide them with reading material at their level. Reading is an important and foundational skill. Please help me give my students the books they deserve.
