My Project
Each day, the second grade students will have the opportunity to read to a book out loud to a sixth grade buddy. The books will be centered around the core and provide the students with an added opportunity to engage in hands-on learning. Also, reading the books out loud to their buddy will increase their fluency and understanding of text. This process will increase their self-confidence and will foster a strong love of reading. The sixth grader will provide added assistance in the learning process and understanding of text.
