This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The pandemic left many of our little ones struggling with basic reading skills. Many of the students in my class are struggling with grasping basic fundamental skills and our classroom library isn’t helping. My students are in desperate need of fabulous decodable readers. Many of our students are struggling to move reading levels and need high interest books that focus on the skills they need.
These books will help them grow confidence and practice the skills we are learning in strategy groups. They will help them to develop a stronger interest in reading and make it fun all at the same time.
