My Project

I was a Kindergarten teacher for 29 years and made a big move to middle school. It is like starting over, and I cannot wait to build a new classroom for my fifth and sixth graders.

I have asked for great books to excite my students to read.

I want to expose my students to different genres so they can find stories they love and want to read more! I have asked for books from mystery to historical fiction and at different grade levels to reach all my students.

My school district is in a high-poverty area. I would love to build my classroom library with enriching literature so my students can take the fantastic adventure of reading!
