I have a new group of 8th graders this year who love to read. I would love to add some new books to my classroom library that they will find engaging so they will continue to grow as readers.
These books are interesting novels that will excite my students even more about reading.
They will provide great topics for discussion and help draw reluctant, anxious students into small-group conversations. Students will gain confidence and grow to become active participants in larger classroom discussions. This Donors Choose project allows me to purchase books to meet all my students' needs and interests. I can't wait to see my students relaxing, reading, and discussing.
