My students are smart, curious, fun-loving, creative, and hardworking. My 18 students represent various cultures and learning levels from kindergarten to third grade. My school consists of 1000+students from diverse backgrounds and abilities. I set high expectations for all of my students and want to provide them with the necessary tools in order to succeed.
My Project
I love it when my students find a book to read that gets them excited about reading. Students are able to get lost in a book and develop a love for reading when they have an excellent selection to choose from.
As a new teacher, I am continuously trying to improve my library and fill my shelves with books that students can enjoy and get lost in.
I am in need of a high-quality classroom library specifically geared toward my first grade class.The books I have chosen for this project would be a perfect addition for my students. They vary in topics, levels, and authors.
Providing new books that peak my students interest will help them to grow their love for reading. These new books will be sure to grab their attention and get them excited about reading!
