My Students

I teach 20 fun, loving, enthusiastic Kindergarteners. Kindergarten is a special grade because these kiddos come in ready to learn about anything and everything. They are very curious and full of questions. My students are learning so many new things in Kindergarten. One of the most important things we learn about is reading! We learn how to read and everything reading entails. My students are so excited when I read them engaging, interesting books. Creating a love for reading in Kindergarten is one of my main goals!

My Project

These 50 amazing books will be excellent to help me teach reading. I will read these wonderful books to my students to engage them in books that they aren’t able to read just yet. The wonderful illustrations and literature of these books will create a love for reading in my students. I want them to be excited every time we read a new book. I think these books will help my students learn comprehension skills such as story elements so much easier because they will be so engaged in the story. As a new teacher, I am trying to build a classroom library, and this will be the perfect starter pack.
