Help me give my students more access to books at their reading level. With this project I am asking for 8 different collections of fiction leveled books ranging from A-E.
My students are full of life and love to learn! They are 5 and 6 year old kindergarten students at different levels of reading. Some of my students are just beginning to learn to read sight words in simple sentences. Other students are voraciously reading through first grade leveled books!
"I am reading and getting smarter, and smarter!" My students are avid readers with a true love of learning!
These energetic little ones are eager to learn! It is truly the time to encourage reading and learning as a lifelong habit!
With our reading program my students need 8-10 books at their level in their book bin. They love to read but need more options to help foster a lifelong reader.
My Project
These books will continue to enhance the print-rich classroom that I strive to create. My classroom library is a place that my students really enjoy. I read on the carpet to them, they complete work there, and they read independently! All of these books have been chosen with my students in mind. Students will be able to choose books, which will help them continue to enjoy independent reading time.
With these new books, my students will be able to choose from a variety of books that will allow them to read independently at their own grade level.
They will also be able to choose books that interest them. The best way to increase reading ability is to read more, and these books will continue to help my students grow stronger in reading. My students already have shown an astonishing interest in independent reading, and this project will only help enrich their experiences with the printed word.
