My students are energetic and eager learns who come to school each day with a smile on their faces. They are so curious about the world about them and their excitement inspires me to provide them with the best possible learning experiences.
Many of my students have one or both parents who are serving in the military and their home environment can be very unpredictable at times.
I strive to provide my students with a stable and consistent environment that nurtures their learning and growth. As a new teacher to the school district, I would love to provide my class with materials that will benefit their learning experiences.
My Project
As a new teacher in a new school, our book shelves are not very full. We lack classics that children love to listen to and read. We recently got funded a book shelf, however we now need books to fill it!
We need more books to help them build their literacy skills and open up their imagination!
At the moment we have a reading center that our students love going to in order to read by themselves or with a buddy. I would love to be able to provide them with a variety of books to choose from. I am requesting a classic library bundle, a Dr. Seuss set, a nursey rhyme set, and other various books that I know my students will love!
