My Students

Day in and day out, my second graders come into our classroom ready to learn! They are driven and determined to be successful in everything they set their minds to.

My students are diverse and each and every one of them is a unique, amazing individual.

They come from many different backgrounds, have different interests, and they all learn at different academic levels. Despite their differences, they all have one thing in common, which is that they all share a love of learning.

My Project

These books will give my struggling readers the opportunity to read without fear and hesitation. Many of my students are not reading at the same level as their grade level peers. I want to be able to provide every student in my class with the chance to read several books throughout the school year. Unfortunately, I do not have enough books to make that happen.

These books will allow each and every student's needs to be met.

Every single book that is placed in my class library will be well taken care of and read numerous times. With this diverse set of books, students will be able to enjoy independent reading time instead of fearing it.
