My Project

Thank you so much for taking a moment to learn about our classroom!

I teach an incredible group of high school students on the Eastside of Los Angeles—young minds full of potential, curiosity, and resilience.

My students come from diverse backgrounds and bring unique perspectives, creativity, and a powerful drive to succeed. Many of them are first-generation English language learners, balancing school, family responsibilities, and part-time jobs—yet they show up each day ready to learn and grow.

Our classroom is a space where we celebrate wonder, critical thinking, and discovery—and I want to build a science library that reflects that spirit. With your support, I’m hoping to add fun, visually engaging chemistry and general science books that will ignite curiosity and make complex ideas accessible and exciting.

These books will help us strengthen science literacy and vocabulary, support visual and hands-on learners, make learning more joyful and meaningful, and show students the amazing possibilities in STEM.
