My Project

These books will be used to enhance our literacy rich classroom. Students will be learning about different places and cultures, and I would like to give them a place to start. We also just started our nonfiction unit and would love to give my students more books and topics to read and do research on. They are so curious and love to learn new facts and information. The baskets will help to provide a new home for these books.

All the incentives are to help restock my classroom store.

My students earn points throughout the day and can use their points to shop in our class store. This motivates students to do their best and makes them want to earn more! They also just started their economics unit on the value of money and barter and can make real world connections to what they are learning in class.

The kickball set will be used for when we start learning how to play kickball in PE. Currently we have no bases, but we have a field. I would love to be able to teach my students how to accurately play the game using the appropriate equipment. Did I mention they love to be outside and active? I know they will be excited.
