This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Students are most excited about reading when they are reading books that they choose. I surveyed my class and the titles included in this project have been selected by them!

I have found that high-interest texts are the best way to engage and motivate students to read so it's important to fill our classroom library with books that they will be immersed in.

My hope is that by acquiring books that they have chosen, students will find great joy in reading and that they will look forward to our reading time each day!
