My Project
Over one-third of the 453 students who attend our rural, Title 1 public school, are bilingual Spanish/English learners. Our bilingual learners work really hard to learn how to read in English.
Every student deserves an opportunity to be able to read with a parent and to see themself in a library book.
By adding bilingual books to our collection, we can offer access to materials that support individual reading interests in which our Hispanic students are represented as well as provide bilingual parents an opportunity to read with their child.
More than half of students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
