My Project

The students in my Kindergarten-5th grade rural school LOVE to read about other kids, fantasy worlds, outdoor adventures, and laugh-out-loud hijinks! They really look forward to library time when I read stories aloud and we do related activities.

Many books in our small library are outdated, so a variety of new books, Where the Mountain Meets the Moon, Math Curse, Finding Winnie: The True Story of the World's Most Famous Bear, Tops & Bottoms and We Are Water Protectors would give my students more choices and opportunities to enjoy authors whose books they haven't read.

Books provide endless doors for young readers to step through. I can't wait to give my students access to exciting and enticing new doors!
