I have some awesome students who need just a little more than the average student. I work in a Title 1 school where it is 99% free and reduce lunch. My school is a K-8th school with over 90% of the population comprise of African American students. We have some hardworking students who are in need of a little help to help them reach their needs. Due to our high rate of transient population our students are performing two to three years below grade level. I have some hardworking students who are in need of a little assistance to help them reach their potential.
My Project
By donating to this project you will help unlock a world that will give my students the hopes and dreams that they can do and be anything.
We will use these novels to help improve reading stamina, fluency, vocabulary, but most importantly giving students the desire to want to read.
When a child reads, it opens the doors to their imagination. It allows them to travel to far off places without ever leaving their seats. We were given part one of the OverLander series, but we can't afford to read part two. My students are excited to read the series and with your donation, this dream and become a reality.
