My Students

I am an exceptional children's preschool teacher for students ages 3-5. The majority of my students have some type of developmental delay. These delays can range from speech delays to autism.

My classroom also includes some typically developing peers.

They serve as role models for our children with special needs. After all, children learn best from other children.

Every day we not only learn through play, but we develop strategies that help us to be great problem solvers. Early intervention rocks!

My Project

As a preschool teacher, I believe that the best way that my students learn is through play. We spend our days building in blocks, dressing up in dramatic play, and creating masterpieces at the art table.

Technology, however, also has its place in our classroom.

Every child loves to spend time on our classroom tablet. They listen to stories being read, play games, and watch informative videos. Screen time is limited to no more than 20 mins per child on those days when I choose to bring out our current tablet.

The problem is our current tablet is very old. The screen is broken. This tablet really needs to be replaced. We are in need of a new tablet​.
