Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

This year in Kindergarten we have started off the school year strong and I have been able to get to know my students in a whole new way! I have an amazing and resilient group of Kindergarteners that are eager to learn! We have been building relationships and preparing to go back to school in person. Our classroom will look very different this year and I would like to give my students some new materials and learning resources for when we return to school in a few short weeks. We are so grateful for any donations that we receive.

My Project

These wonderful books will help our students learn about the world around them and they will also help us in using our imagination and our creativity to create art and share what we are learning in Kindergarten. We have themes that we use to teach throughout the year. Our themes are used to teach reading, science, social studies, art, and math.

The alphabet and math learning tools will help my students in their group learning stations.

The alphabet tools will help with the letter and sound recognition that they need before they begin reading and the math learning tools will help them with their math skills by building a strong number sense foundation.
