This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Some supplies like dry erase markers, dry erase pockets, and leveled books can make a huge difference in a classroom full of children. I want my special students to face their challenges, believe in themselves, and overcome their difficulties. That is why I like to provide these students with activities that will help them learn and feel good about themselves.

I want my classroom to be an effective learning environment that encourages children to persist and try their best.

Some students in my room have special needs and likes. They are in a regular education classroom and need help to access the grade level content. The dry erase markers and pockets will help them to practice skills they have not mastered yet. These materials help students to take risks because they can be easily erased and written again.

Please help me to provide my students with leveled books. These books will allow students to read independently at their own reading level. This will increase my special friends engagement and decrease their frustration. Little things can make a big difference, especially for special friends.
