My Project
I love having a loud, collaborative classroom where everyone is working productively and talking to each other about what they're doing.
My goal through this project is to continue adding to my flexible seating options and continue taking the seating in my room into a comfortable, collaborative direction, offering students a ton of different options for seating, promoting collaboration, human connection, and learning with one another, rather than just in the presence of one another.
English class can be an intimidating place for students because so many of them struggle with both reading and writing. My students have loved the flex seating and the comfort, and it has genuinely improved the classroom environment and made my students more willing to share and participate in class. Please help me add to my flexible seating classroom with these new chairs.
My students are also loving graphic novels because they make reading more approachable. Help us add to the graphic novel selection in our classroom library with these graphic novel versions of classic texts!
