This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I added a bunch of books to my classroom library at the beginning of this year. The new books have really sparked interest in reading. For the first year, I'm seeing my students ask to read when they finish their work. They are choosing to read instead of computer time!

I am so excited to see the interest in reading grow and want to keep the motivation rolling!

I'd like to add to the series's that I see students choosing and enjoying so they can keep reading but also introduce some new topics and authors as well!
