My Project

When students return their library books towards the end of the year, they will receive a ticket to attend our Books4Bingo Event. At the previously mentioned event, students will play multiple rounds of Bingo in the hopes of winning a paperback book of their choosing. Winning paperback books as prizes for a Bingo game offers a unique opportunity to enrich students' home learning environments and foster a lifelong love of literacy. By bringing new books into their homes, students are encouraged to explore diverse genres and authors, sparking curiosity and imagination. These books serve as tangible reminders of achievement and pleasure, motivating students to continue reading. Furthermore, having access to a personal library at home can significantly increase reading frequency, vocabulary development, and overall academic performance. This exposure to literature outside the classroom setting cultivates a habit of reading that extends into adulthood, nurturing a lifelong appreciation for the written word. In essence, integrating books as Bingo prizes not only rewards students, but also invests in their educational journey and literacy development.
