My students need a classroom library. I am moving from second grade to fourth grade and need higher level, exciting books for my fourth graders.

My Students

My scholars are a unique group of learners. They come from diverse social and economic backgrounds from around the world. We are a microcosm of the community we serve. They enjoy learning through hands-on technology and free exploration. As a class, they are creative, enthusiastic and energetic. They especially excel when given the freedom to question, hypothesize and explore various materials. As their teacher, I am constantly challenged with providing them new and innovative curriculum through technology and other sources. I am blessed to be their teacher.

My Project

My new fourth grade classroom will have students with different reading levels. They will also have a variety of interests. I want to provide them with an assortment of books that will help them become better readers. I want to foster my students' love of reading!

Authors such as Judy Blume and Roald Dahl are personal favorites.

I want to be able to share these books, and my love of reading, with my students. Since I will be new to fourth grade, these new books will help me start off my school year with an inviting classroom library that the children will love!
