This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students students are more than where they come from or where they live. My students have more potential than I ever imagined my first classroom would have.

They are dreamers, they are team players, they are hard working and more than any of those they are inspiring.

Many of my students have hard working parents who work late and many siblings to take care of before they even start to think about taking care of themselves. They are talented and motivated but just need a little more support to reach their full potential.

My Project

These books will provide students with so many more options and genres that they need to spark their reading interests in our class library.

It will also supply us with a class set of the classic book Charlottes Web so that I can read this book aloud with my class and share great literature!

I am a new teacher and cannot provide enough books on different levels yet to all of my kids from my newly started classroom library. These books will not only provide multiple reading leveled books to my class but will also give them books that they are interested in and always asking for!
