My Students
In my classroom, we LOVE to read! Our movie themed classroom has a "readbox" library where students can check out any book they want. I have purchased many books and the students love to check them out! However, our current bookcases have broke and we desperately need new ones for our class library!
I have a wide range of amazing fifth grade students!
They have so many different interests, but we all love reading time. As a Title I school, we have a variety of socioeconomic statuses, ELL students, and students of all ability levels. We are a wonderful school that supports creativity and a passion for learning.
My Project
My students will use these bookcases to store and organize our precious class library! These bookcases will promote an environment of passionate readers and will allow them to recommend and share books with each other. Students will be able to check out books whenever they like and will have a variety of options.
This project will greatly help our classroom!
I believe creating lifelong readers is an important part of education. I want to instill a passion for reading, exploring, and expressing yourself in my classroom. An inviting library will help students gain an interest in a variety of genres and explore new books!
